To enable reporting on a Honeywell VISTA-21iP, you must first ensure you have an alpha-numeric keypad (e.g., 6160) and the installer code (default is 4112). Enter programming mode by entering [Installer Code] + 8 + 0 + 0. Set the communication format by entering *48, then input 7 for both partition 1 and partition 2 to select 4-digit Contact ID reporting. Exit programming by pressing *99.
1. Enter Programming Mode: At your keypad, type your 4-digit installer code (default 4112) followed by 800. You should see “Installer Code 20” on the display.
2. Set Reporting Format
- Press *48 to access the report format menu.
- The system will prompt for the primary and secondary partition formats.
- Enter 7 for each to enable 4-digit Ademco Contact ID, which is the standard format for most monitoring services.
3. Zone Reporting: If you need to enable or disable reporting for specific zones, press *56 to enter zone programming. Select the zone number, proceed through the prompts until you reach the “Report Code” screen, and ensure the values are set as required ( typically disables reporting for that zone).
4. Exiting: Once finished, press *99 to save your changes and exit programming mode.
