To set up a temporary guest code on your IQ Panel 5, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the settings tray, select Settings, go to Advanced Settings, and enter your Master Code. Then tap User Management, select Add New, assign a guest name and code, set the type to Guest, choose an Expiration Date, and save.
Steps to Program a Guest Code
- Open Settings Tray: Swipe down from the top edge of the screen and touch Settings.
- Advanced Settings: Select Advanced Settings and type your current Master Code (default is
1234). - User Management: Tap User Management to view existing user profiles.
- Add User: Press Add User (or Add New) at the bottom of the screen.
Configure Details:
- Enter the guest’s name.
- Enter and confirm a unique 4-digit code.
- Set the user type to Guest (this allows arming and disarming only, without altering panel settings).
- Tap Expiration Date, select the final date the code should work, and press Set.
- Press Add User or save to finish.
