To program a user code on a DMP XR550 system, press the CMD key until MENU? NO YES appears. Select YES, enter your current Master Code, and press CMD until USER CODES? shows. Select a top-row button, choose ADD or select an empty User Number, enter the new User Code, and press CMD to save.
Steps to Add a User Code
- Access Menu: Press CMD until the screen shows
MENU?. Press the select key for YES. - Enter Master Code: Type your current Master level user code and press CMD.
- Open User Codes: Press CMD until the keypad displays
USER CODES?. - Select Add/Change: Press a top-row select key under the display to open user management, then choose ADD.
- Choose User Number: Enter an available user number (do not use user number 1) and press CMD.
- Enter the PIN: Type the new 4-digit (or up to specific length) user code and press CMD.
- Name the User (Optional): Enter a name using the keypad layout if prompted, and press CMD through the remaining permission options to confirm
