To add a user on a PowerSeries Neo system, press * + 5, enter the master code, and then select the user number and new 4- to 6-digit code. You can use the arrow keys to navigate to a user slot and press * to access it, or directly enter a two-digit user number. After entering the new code, a “P” will appear on the screen to confirm it’s saved.
Step-by-step guide to adding a user
- Enter programming mode: On the keypad, press
*+5. - Enter the master code: Enter your master code (the default is
1234). - Select the user slot: Use the arrow keys to navigate to an empty or existing user slot you want to program.
- Access the user slot: Press
*to access the selected user’s code. - Enter the new access code: Type the new 4, 6, or 8-digit access code for the user.
- Confirm the code: The keypad will return to the previous menu, and a “P” will appear to indicate the code has been programmed and saved.
- Exit programming: To exit, press the
