The 4193SN is a serialized two-zone expander used to connect alarm sensing devices to controls which support serial number polling loop devices (i.e., Vista- 40, Vista-50P, and Vista-100).
The 4193SN can be configured as one supervised zone (10K EOLR) and one unsupervised zone, or two unsupervised zones (normally closed devices only).
For Fire Applications:
The 4193SN must be mounted inside the control panel cabinet or inside a UL- Listed junction box. Loop 1 must be used in the supervised configuration for Fire. Loop 2 may be used for Burglary.
For UL Burglary Applications:
If using an unsupervised zone of the 4193SN, the unit must be mounted within 3 feet of the alarm initiating device, with no intervening barriers.
