PROA7PLUS: Re-register the radio

To re-register the cellular radio or communicator on a Honeywell Home / Resideo Pro A7 Plus (PROA7PLUS) security panel, disable Local Alarm Mode and run a communication test through the system tools, or coordinate with your monitoring dealer to re-register the MAC/CRC ID via AlarmNet 360.

Steps to Re-Enable and Test the Communicator

  • Access Tools: Tap the three-line menu icon (hamburger button) at the bottom of the screen, swipe up if needed, and select Tools.
  • Enter Code: Type in your system’s Installer Code (the default code is 4112 unless your security dealer changed it).
  • Disable Local Alarm Mode: Scroll down and make sure Local Alarm Mode is turned off (disabled), so the panel allows communication signals to pass through to the network.
  • Run Diagnostics: Go to System Tests, then tap Test Communicator or Test Cellular to verify the radio connects properly to the cellular network and registers the signal strength.

If the radio fails to register or shows an account mismatch error, your monitoring provider must manually update or re-register the new IMEI/MAC and CRC numbers on their backend network management portal.
