PowerSeries Neo: Quick exit

To perform a “quick exit” on a DSC PowerSeries Neo system, you must first be in “stay” mode, then press and hold the “Quick Exit” key for two seconds or press * then 0. This will give you a two-minute window to open a delay door and leave the premises. The system will re-arm automatically after the door is closed and the exit timer is canceled.

On an LCD keypad

• Press and hold the “Quick Exit” key for two seconds, or Press * and 0. The keypad will display “Quick Exit in Progress”.
• Exit the premises through a designated delay door.
• Close the door. The system will fully re-arm automatically. 

On a touchscreen

• Ensure the system is in “stay” mode.
• Press the dedicated “Quick Exit” key on the touchscreen.
• Exit the premises through a designated delay door.
• Close the door to re-arm the system. 

Enabling the feature

• If “Quick Exit” is not working, you may need to enable it in the programming menu.
• Enter programming: Press * then 8 and enter the installer code.
• Go to section 015: This is the programming section for arming shortcuts.
• Enable the “Quick Exit” and “Quick Arming” features by scrolling through the options and making sure they are turned on.
• Press # to exit programming.
