(XR550N/XR550E only)
- 1. Access the User Menu.
- 2. Press COMMAND until SYSTEM TEST? displays.
- 3. Press any select key or area. The keypad displays SYSTEM ZONES. Select ZONES.
- 4. The keypad displays BURG PANICS. Select PANICS.
- 5. The Panic Zone Test begins automatically and the keypad displays TRIPS: END.
- 6. During the Panic Zone Test, trip each panic zone (or button) by pressing and holding the panic for 1 to 2 seconds.
Note: You do NOT have to hold the panic for 2 seconds in normal mode. The Panic Zone Test takes additional time to display when the system is in test mode.
- 7. Each time you trip a panic zone, the display number increments and the keypad buzzer sounds for two seconds.
- 8. The number of panic zones tripped constantly displays until the test ends or no panic zone activity has occurred for 20 minutes.
- 9. Select END to stop the Panic Zone Test.
- 10. PANIC TEST OKAY displays when the Panic Zone Test is completed and all zones tested OK.
- 11. When the Panic Zone Test ends and a zone failed (did not trip) during the test, the keypad displays the zone name and number and the buzzer sounds for one second. Press the COMMAND key to display the next failed zone.
Note: If testing a key fob, a message will not display if it fails, only the verification message is displayed.
