To disable the Qolsys IQ Panel 4 camera, you can either stop image uploads via the Alarm.com website (or your provider’s portal) by turning off the automation rules for “Panel Camera Image Uploads” or directly through the panel’s settings by swiping down, going to Settings > Advanced Settings, entering the Installer/Dealer Code, then Installation > Camera Settings, and disabling the camera, or using the Power Cycle method for persistent issues.
Method 1: Via the Alarm.com Website
- Log in to your Alarm.com customer website (or your provider’s portal).
- Go to Automation, then Rules.
- Find the rules for Panel Camera Alarm Image Uploads and/or Panel Camera Disarm Image Uploads.
- Click the toggle switch to turn them off.
Method 2: Via the IQ Panel 4 Settings
- Swipe down from the top of the panel screen to access the settings tray.
- Tap the Gear icon to open settings.
- Select Advanced Settings and enter your Installer/Dealer Code (default is often 1111 or set by your provider).
- Go to Installation, then Camera Settings.
- Tap Panel Camera to toggle it to Disable Panel Camera.
- You might need to power cycle the panel (swipe down, Settings, Advanced, Code, Power Down, unplug A/C, wait, plug back in, power on) and then re-enable it for it to fully reset.
