To program a DMP 1100 Series Wireless Receiver, you must program a House Code in the panel’s system options and ensure the receiver is correctly wired to the panel’s X-Bus or Keypad Bus, depending on the panel model.
The panel then automatically recognizes the receiver and sends the house code to associated wireless transmitters as they are programmed.
Wiring the Receiver
Before programming, ensure the receiver is physically connected to the panel:
- Connect the red, yellow, green, and black wires from the 1100 receiver’s
PANELterminals to the appropriate bus connection on your DMP panel (X-Bus for XR Series or Keypad Bus for XT/XR Command Processor panels). - Do not use shielded wire for this connection. The connection can be extended up to 1,000 feet using 22 AWG wire.
- For XR150/XR550 panels, after wiring and power-up, briefly reset the panel using the
RESETheader to activate wireless zone operation.
Programming the Panel
Once the receiver is physically installed, program the panel through a keypad:
- Access the Programmer Menu:
- For XR Series panels, enter 6653 (PROG) at the keypad.
- For XT Series panels, enter 665 (PRO).
- Set the House Code:
- Navigate to SYSTEM OPTIONS.
- Program a HOUSE CODE between 1 and 50. The house code is used to identify the panel, receiver, and transmitters to each other.

- Enter the desired ZONE NO:.
- Enter the ZONE NAME and select the appropriate ZONE TYPE (e.g., Aux, Supervisory).
