DMP: How to program static IP

To enable static IP on DMP security panel you must disable DHCP and manually enter static network values.

  • Reset the panel and enter the installer code (6653) within the first few minutes to enter the PROGRAMMER menu.
  • Navigate to Network Options: Use the CMD key to scroll to NETWORK OPTIONS and press a top-row select key.
  • Disable DHCP: Find the DHCP prompt. It is usually set to YES by default; press a select key to change it to NO.
  • Enter Static IP: The keypad will prompt for LOCAL IP ADDRESS. Enter all 12 digits (e.g., 192.168.001.050) without typing periods.
  • Set Gateway & Subnet: Repeat the process for the SUBNET MASK (typically 255.255.255.000) and the GATEWAY ADDRESS.
  • Save and Exit: Press CMD until you reach STOP to save settings.
