To check a camera’s network information on Alarm.com, log into the website, go to Video, then Settings, and select your camera from the dropdown menu. Click on Video Device Info to see the Wireless Signal Strength or Wireless Network to view the Current Network details, such as the frequency.
You can also find the connected Wi-Fi network frequency for a specific video device using the mobile app by tapping Video, selecting the device, and then tapping the online status card or Network.
Using the Alarm.com website
- Log in to the alarm.com customer website.
- Click Video.
- Click Settings.
- Select the specific video device from the “Video Device” dropdown menu.
- To check signal strength, click Video Device Info and look for Wireless Signal Strength.
- To see the network frequency, click Wireless Network and look for “Current Network”.
Using the Alarm.com app
- Log in to the Alarm.com app.
- Tap Video.
- Tap the gear icon (top right corner)
- Tap the desired video device.
- Click on Network to view network details.
