To enroll a PROSiXCTV device, go to your panel’s menu, navigate to Tools, and enter the installer code (default is 4112). From there, go to Programming, then Peripherals, and tap the plus sign to add a new device.
Activate the sensor by removing the battery tab or opening the cover to trigger the tamper switch. The panel will learn the device, and you can then program the zone, name, and other settings.
Step 1: Access programming mode
- On the ProSeries panel, tap Menu option then click on Tools.
- Enter the installer code. The default is 4112, unless it has been changed.
- Go to Programming > Peripherals.
- Tap the plus sign (+) to enter learn mode.
Step 2: Activate the PROSiXCTV sensor
- For a new sensor, pull the battery tab to activate it.
- For a sensor that has been used, open the cover to trigger the tamper switch.
- The green LED on the sensor will begin flashing, indicating it is ready to be learned.
Step 3: Program the sensor
- Wait for the panel to detect the sensor. The green LED will turn solid for a moment, and the panel will show the device’s serial number (MAC ID).
- If enrollment is successful, you can now program the sensor’s details.
- Zone Number: Assign a zone number (e.g., Zone 1).
- Name: Give the zone a descriptive name, such as “Front Door”
- Response Type: Choose the appropriate response, such as “Interior Follow” for movement detection.
- Click Save and close the sensor’s cover if you used the tamper switch.
Step 4: Test the sensor
- Exit the programming menu and go to Sensors to check the signal strength in the sensor’s final location.
- Permanently mount the sensor.
- Arm the system and test the sensor to ensure it is working correctly.
