DSC Maxsys – Bypassing Zones

On a Maxsys system, the Bypass Zone feature can be used to disarm a troubled zone so that the system can be armed. To use this feature, follow these steps:

  1. Press * 1
  2. Enter your master code
  3. Press 1 for Bypass Zone option
  4. Use the arrow keys, < or >, to scroll through the zones to find the one to be bypassed
  5. Press * to bypass the desired zone (A “*” will appear next to zone label to indicated bypass)
