How to program PG9933

To program a PG9933 on a Qolsys panel, you must first put the panel in “Auto-Learn Sensor” mode, then install the battery in the PG9933 to trigger the enrollment signal. After the panel detects the sensor, confirm the serial number and configure the zone settings, setting the sensor type to “CO Detector” and the sensor group to “34”.

Enable auto-enrollment on the Qolsys panel

  • From the main screen, tap the small gray bar at the top, go to Settings > Advanced Settings.
  • Enter the Installer Code (the default is 1111).
  • Navigate to Installation > Devices > Security Sensors > Auto-Learn Sensor.

Enroll the PG9933 sensor

  • With the panel in auto-enroll mode, open the PG9933 sensor and insert a new battery.
  • The panel should automatically detect the sensor and display a pop-up asking to enroll it.
  • Confirm that the serial number shown on the panel matches the one on the sensor’s packaging or the device itself.

Configure the sensor’s settings

  • The “Sensor DL ID” should be pre-filled from the auto-enrollment.
  • Set the Sensor Type to “CO Detector”.
  • Set the Sensor Group to “34”.
  • Give the sensor a descriptive Sensor Name, such as “Living Room CO”.
  • Save your changes.

Test the sensor

  • If you have a central monitoring station, put your system in test mode first.
  • Press and hold the test button on the PG9933 CO detector until it triggers an alarm.
  • Verify that the panel and central station receive the alarm signal.

Connect to the IQ Pro

Open the IQ Installer app on your mobile device and connect to the IQ Pro’s local Wi-Fi network.

  • Tap Configuration > Installation > Devices > Security Sensors.
  • Tap the plus icon (+) to add a new sensor.
  • Select Auto Learn and then Start Auto Learn.

Trigger the sensor

Open the PG9933 and insert a new battery. This will power the device and send a signal.

Confirm enrollment

The IQ Pro will detect the sensor and a message will appear on your app. Tap OK to confirm the auto-enrollment.

Configure the sensor

  • A new screen will appear with the sensor’s serial number. Configure the device settings, such as Sensor Type, Sensor Name, and Source (set to PowerG).
  • Tap Save or Add New to complete the programming.

If auto-enrollment fails

  • You may need to manually enter the 7-digit Serial Number found on the sensor itself.
  • Once the serial number is entered, the app will guide you through the rest of the configuration process.
