To program Contact ID format on a DSC Maxsys PC4020 control panel, enter the system programming mode using *8 plus your installer code, select the telephone and communicator options, and set the format to DTMF Contact ID.
Accessing Programming and Phone Setup
- Enter
*8 [Installer Code]on your LCD keypad to enter programming. - Go to Program Telephone Number (Option
00). - Select the target phone number slot (e.g.,
01for the first phone number). - Input your monitoring station phone number followed by
#.
Setting Communicator Format
- Navigate to the Communicator Format option for that phone number.
- Choose DTMF Contact ID from the available format list.
- Press the arrow keys to configure dialer directions and toggles (such as enabling alarms, restores, and opening/closing reporting) by toggling options to
Y(Yes) using the*key.
Enabling Communication Toggles
- Go back to main items and select Communication Toggles (Option
01). - Turn Comms. Enabled and DTMF Dialing to
Y(Yes) using the*key. - Press
#repeatedly to exit and save your settings when finished.
