To program a PG9914 on an IQ Panel 4, navigate to Settings > Advanced Settings and enter the installer code. Then, go to Installation > Devices > Security Sensors and select Auto Learn Sensors. Once the panel is in auto-learn mode, open the motion detector, insert the battery, and press and hold the learn button until the panel detects it. Finally, configure the sensor settings and save.
Access Auto-Learn mode
- Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap Settings.
- Tap Advanced Settings and enter the installer code (default is typically 1111).
- Navigate to Installation, then Devices.
- Tap Security Sensors, then Auto Learn Sensors.
Activate the sensor
- Open the PG9914 motion detector by separating the front cover from the base.
- Remove the battery pull tab or insert the battery, making sure the polarity is correct.
- Press and hold the internal learn button (located next to the battery) until the panel detects the sensor.
Configure the sensor
- When the panel detects the sensor, press OK.
- Verify that the serial number on the panel matches the one on the device.
- Set the sensor’s name, type, and other desired settings like motion sensitivity or chime type.
- Tap Add New to save the configuration.
