To enable DMP chime, find the “Chime” option on your touchscreen keypad’s home screen and press it, or for other keypad models, press and hold the “CHIME” (#5) key for two seconds. A door icon will appear on the screen to confirm the feature is on.
On a touchscreen
- Find the Chime option: On the home screen, scroll through the menu options to find “Chime” and press it.
- Confirm it’s on: An open door icon will appear at the top of the screen to show the feature is active.
On an older/fixed keypad
- Press and hold the chime key: Press and hold the “CHIME” key (often the #5 button) for two seconds.
- Confirm it’s on: A door icon or the word “chime” will appear on the screen, and you may hear a beep.
