To program a DSC PG9938 panic switch on a Qolsys panel, enter Installer Code in Settings > Advanced Settings > Installation > Devices > Security Sensors > Auto Learn Sensor to start the enrollment mode.
Then, press and hold the PG9938’s button until the LED light flashes and turns solid, then release the button to enroll it. Finally, configure the sensor settings like Sensor Group and Sensor Name, then select Add New.
Enter enrollment mode
- From the main screen, tap the gray bar at the top.
- Go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Installer Code.
- Use the installer code (default is 1111) to access the menu.
- Select Installation > Devices > Security Sensors > Auto Learn Sensor to put the panel into wireless enrollment mode.
Enroll the sensor
- Press and hold the button on the PG9938 panic switch.
- The LED light will flash once, but keep holding the button.
- Continue to hold until the LED light illuminates a second time and turns solid, then release the button.
- The panel should show a message asking to add the sensor. Press OK to continue.
Configure the sensor settings
- When the sensor settings screen appears, configure the options.
- Set the Sensor Type to Auxiliary Pendant.
- Choose a Sensor Group (compatible options include 6, 1, 0, 2, 4, or 25).
- Enter a Sensor Name and set the Chime Type and Voice Prompts as desired.
- Ensure the Source is set to PowerG.
- Press Add New to complete the programming.
